Product DetailsThe Colnago CX-1 EVO is true road racing machine with stage victories in the Tour De France and the Giro d'Italia. The CX-1 EVO uses slightly higher bottom bracket and slightly faster handling geometry than the M10S or C59 Italia. This makes the CX-1 EVO perfect choice for the rider who likes to go fast, especially, those who like to sprint and pedal hard through turns. The CX-1 EVO is also remarkably comfortable for such fast bike. It takes phenomenal blend of these qualities to make professional caliber road bike.
A large box-section top tube contributes to the ultra-stable handling at high speed. The tapered head tube and steerer tube also improve stability and handling accuracy above the original CX-1. The chainstays and seatstays are specially shaped to optimize torsional and lateral rigidity for excellent sprinting. The frame also features semi-integrated C-HS1 Colnago Headset System which allows easier disassembly and maintenance without removing the entire headset. The CX-1 EVO is compatible with both electronic and mechanical groupsets. Electronic group wiring is routed inside the frame.
