(724 Strava miles)Weight- 16.8 lbs as shown The time trials have unfortunately disappeared in our area. This is N+1 too many. Can’t justify keeping it when it gets raced maybe once year. This bike deserves better. It is my husband’s speed machine. No it’s not disk brakes but wind tunnels have proven rim brakes are faster, and who needs disk brake power in TT or triathlon?Yes it’s 10 speed, the cassette and two chainrings give you plenty of range to find the right gear. 54-11 enough said. This bike comes with brand new full length HiMod seatpost and the original now shorter seatpost. This was due to friend borrowing the bike for race and thought it was okay to cut 4” off the bottom. To safely raise it back to the original height new post was purchased. Now smaller in stature person post is free with purchase. Plus the new Cannondale rear under seat mount. If you use the saddle in the forward position you can put the cage behind the saddle. There is one small rub from rear tire being too close to the back, also from the friend, not sure what size tires he was running. There are other very minor rubs, nothing that even goes through the clear on the paint. As you can see in the pictures this bike is in excellent overall condition and is ready for its next race. The Xentis wheels were race wheels only and as you can see there is plenty of life on the brake track. There is some carbon cracking around the valve stems. The wheels were sent to Xentis for repair and they repacked the foam around the valve stem. The cracks never got any worse. See pictures for close the close ups. The rear wheel is loud but both spin freely and are true with no hops. These wheels are fast!!! You have to make sure they are going in the right direction (Unlike Ulrich in critical TT during the Tour de France)Just quick word on the comfort and handling, The slice handles like road bike and is not harsh riding at all. It is the best TT bike have ever ridden. We did well known TT in south Texas that we did not preview the course. There was hair pin turn that we took at over 30 mph and held it, but not only held it....held it in the aerobars!! If we were on different bike we would have been in the water! (Some ended up in the water) The other bike, 51cm slice that rode that day, will also be for sale. This is the second listing of this bike, do not bid if you are uncertain you actually want it. Shipping will be done through bike flights, hopefully at lower cost than estimated.
